Amit Singh
Chief Executive Officer

Amit Singh joins Omnissa after six years at Palo Alto Networks, where as President he was responsible for all business and operations at the largest public cybersecurity company in the world, helping lead it through a fivefold increase in market value, the creation of multiple new billion-dollar businesses and its emergence as the first $100 billion cybersecurity company. Before that he spent a decade at Google, where he helped found and lead Google Cloud, bringing companies onto Gmail, Google Docs and the full cloud platform. He began his career with twenty years at Oracle across product, engineering, sales and strategy roles. Most recently he founded abovecloud9.ai, applying AI to expand access to meditation and mental well-being programs with the Art of Living, a global non-profit.

Bharath Rangarajan
Chief Product Officer

Bharath Rangarajan is senior vice president and chief product officer of Products at Omnissa, where he oversees the company’s product strategy and technology alliances, and leads global teams responsible for product management, tech enablement, UX design, and data science. 

Bharath’s product expertise includes SaaS, cloud, and mobile technologies, and his experience spans both startups and large businesses.  

Prior to Omnissa, Bharath served as general manager and vice president of Products for VMware’s End-user Computing business. During his tenure, Bharath led product management for Workspace ONE and the Horizon product portfolios.  

Prior to VMware, he served in a variety of product leadership roles for leaders in cloud security, cloud networking, and mobile platforms, including Citrix and Webex, and he was vice president of product for both Lookout and Pertino. 

Kyle Austin
Chief Technology Officer

Kyle Austin is senior vice president of Engineering at Omnissa, where he oversees the company’s technology strategy and leads the global engineering, technical operations, IT, and customer service teams. 

Kyle is a seasoned software executive with experience building transformative products. His expertise spans software engineering, cloud services, and customer-centric innovation at startups and large companies. 

Prior to Omnissa, Kyle served as senior vice president of engineering for VMware’s End-user Computing business.  

Prior to VMware, Kyle led product and engineering roles for leaders in security, identity, and access management. His previous roles include vice president of engineering at TriCipher, and principal architect at both Identrus and Digital Signature Trust. 

Deeply committed to advancing technology, Kyle holds 18 patents across diverse fields such as cybersecurity, cryptography, authentication, and device management.

Steve Shimizu
Chief Financial Officer

Steve Shimizu is chief financial officer at Omnissa, where he leads business analysis and strategic decision-making to drive profitable growth. Steve joins Omnissa with over 25 years of experience in finance and technology.  

Prior to Omnissa, he served as vice president of Finance for VMware’s Digital Workspace, Network and Security, and Secure Access Service Edge businesses, where he was instrumental in developing the organization’s SaaS-based decision-making model. 

Prior to VMware, Steve was segment CFO for Cisco’s Service Provider Video Software segment. He also served in finance roles at Hewlett-Packard and Ernst & Young.

Renu Upadhyay
Chief Marketing Officer

Renu Upadhyay is senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Partner and Marketing at Omnissa, leading global marketing strategy, demand generation, product and solution marketing and brand to establish Omnissa as the leading digital work platform company. 

Renu is an experienced technology marketer with a deep understanding of products, industry, and customers spanning mobile, wireless networking and collaboration solutions across large and mid-size organizations. 

Prior to Omnissa, she served as vice president of Marketing for VMware’s End-user Computing (EUC) business. In that role, she led marketing strategy and was responsible for customer messaging, demand, content marketing, sales and technical enablement, and product pricing strategy. She oversaw marketing programs and campaigns for EUC’s comprehensive portfolio of solutions including employee engagement programs. 

Prior to VMware, Renu held senior product marketing roles at leading companies including Good Technology, Cisco Systems and AT&T Wireless. 

Scott Magrath
Senior Vice President, Business Strategy and Risk

Scott is Senior Vice President of Business Strategy and Risk at Omnissa, where he oversees strategic planning and business operations. He leads the teams responsible for business cash operations, planning, legal, InfoSec and compliance, and corporate governance. 

Scott has experience growing top-line revenue and leading high-performing teams across multiple disciplines including general management, product marketing, operations and sales.  

Prior to Omnissa, he served as vice president of business operations and SaaS transformation for VMware’s End-user Computing business. During his tenure with VMware, he led the transition to subscription, launched the company’s desktop-as-a-service offering, standardized the delivery of SaaS offerings, and led the integration of several acquisitions.  

Prior to VMware, Scott held various strategy and operations roles with software and security companies, including chief operations officer of Socialcast and general manager of VeriSign’s Managed Security Services business.

Dan Dulick
Interim Head of Global Sales and SVP of Global Technical Services

Dan Dulick is the senior vice president of Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services at Omnissa, where he leads teams focused on helping customers discover, deploy, and sustain the value of Omnissa solutions.

Before joining Omnissa, Dan served as vice president of Sales Engineering in the VMware End-User Computing Division where he spearheaded some of the company’s largest and most complex global projects, drove successful deployments, and fostered strong customer relationships.

A seasoned technology executive, Dan’s career spans both vendor and customer perspectives, giving him a unique understanding of customer challenges and the dedicated support and guidance they require at each stage of their journey.

Sunaina Lobo
Chief People Experience Officer

Sunaina Lobo (Suni) is senior vice president and chief people experience officer at Omnissa, where she architects the global talent strategy to power business goals. 

She is a transformation veteran, having driven high-growth scenarios across technology, fintech, supply chain, and financial services. Suni specializes in building powerhouse talent pipelines, fostering an inclusive culture, and leading AI transformation on a global scale.

Prior to Omnissa, she served as Chief People Officer at Gong, Marqeta (NASDAQ:MQ), and Navis LLC. Her background includes senior leadership roles at Cisco, ANZ Bank, and SVB Financial Services, where she consistently built high-performing teams that accelerate sustainable growth.

Having lived and worked in eight countries, Suni brings a uniquely broad and influential global perspective to the executive team.

Brooks Beard
General Counsel

Brooks Beard is general counsel at Omnissa. He drives the company’s legal strategy and – with his team – oversees the legal aspects of areas such as commercial and public sector sales, ethics and compliance, IP, cybersecurity, privacy, corporate governance, employment and litigation, as well as government relations and public policy.  

Prior to joining Omnissa, Brooks served as vice president and deputy general counsel at VMware.  

Prior to VMware, he was a partner in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster and he began his legal career in the Washington, DC office of Jones Day.

Lynne Doherty
Board member

Lynne Doherty is a seasoned go‑to‑market executive and board leader with deep expertise scaling enterprise technology companies from early growth to global operations. She has built and led high‑performing GTM organizations across venture‑backed, private‑equity‑backed, and public‑company environments, including serving twice as an officer of a public company.

Lynne is known for driving durable revenue growth, operational rigor, and organizational evolution across complex, multi‑product, global businesses. She currently serves as an independent director on the boards of Presidio, CloudBees, and the American Red Cross.

John Swainson
Executive Chair

John Swainson is an experienced technology executive and board leader with a long track record guiding global organizations through transformation and growth. He has served on the Omnissa board since August 2025 and currently serves as Executive Chairman of Equiniti, Inc. and Chairman of Travelport Inc., and sits on the boards of ERCOT, Takkion and Schneider National, as well as the advisory board of Midis Group.

John previously led the Dell Software Group and served as CEO of CA Technologies, following more than two decades in senior leadership roles at IBM. His prior board service includes Cadence Design Systems, Broadcom, Assurant, SecureKey, VISA, and Serena Software. He is known for scaling complex businesses, modernizing product portfolios, and driving operational excellence.

Angad Singh
Board member

Angad Singh (New York) joined KKR in 2015 and is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Software within KKR’s Americas Private Equity platform. Previously, Mr. Singh was a member of the Consumer industry team and has been involved with KKR’s investments in 1-800 Contacts, The Bay Club, The Bountiful Company (formerly The Nature’s Bounty Co.), Cardenas Markets, Coty, KDC/ONE, Flora Food Group, Nothing Bundt Cakes, US Foods, and Varsity Brands. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was involved in a variety of merger, acquisition, and financing transactions in the consumer, industrials, and natural resources sectors.  

John Park
Board member

John Park leads the Technology team within KKR’s Americas Private Equity platform and serves on both the Investment Committee and Portfolio Management Committee. Since joining KKR in 2013, he has guided investments across enterprise software, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure, and currently sits on the Boards of Alchemer, Alludo, Barracuda Networks, BMC Software, Cloudera, Internet Brands, Sovra and Optiv. 

John has also been involved in a broad portfolio of past KKR investments, including ASG Technologies, Autodata Solutions, Box, Calabrio, Cylance, Epicor, Exact, GoDaddy, Henry Schein One, Koerber Supply Chain Software, Mitchell International, OutSystems, Ping Identity, Reliance Jio Platforms, ReliaQuest, and SunGard Data Systems.

Brandon Shamess
Board member

Brandon Shamess (New York) joined KKR in 2019 and is a member of the Software industry team within the firm’s Americas Private Equity platform. He is currently involved in the firm’s investments in BMC, Box, MDF Commerce, Omnissa and OutSystems. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Shamess was with Goldman Sachs where he was involved in a number of mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions. He holds an Honors B.A. with distinction from Ivey Business School at Western University, in Canada.
