Shankar Iyer at Omnissa ONE 2024

Over the last five months I’ve had the honor of introducing Omnissa to the world and celebrating that milestone with customers and employees. In India, we planted a tree for growth and resilience. In Tokyo, we broke a sake barrel to symbolize new beginnings. Here in the U.S., we took a meaningful step forward with the opening of our Mountain View office, right where Silicon Valley’s innovation legacy began.

Since our official launch in July as an independent company, it’s been an exhilarating beginning, filled with purpose and momentum.

All about the digital workspace

Omnissa is more than just a new brand. It reflects our singular focus on digital workspace technology.

In July I said that we would create tremendous new value from our platform and continue innovating on our flagship products, Horizon® and Workspace ONE®. I am immensely proud of our global team for delivering on both this year.

Our latest product enhancements are designed to meet the pressing needs of digital-first companies — from our introduction of UEM modern architecture and enhanced support for persistent virtual desktops to Apple DDM and DEX playbooks.

And the market is taking note.

Omnissa was recently named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Desktop as a Service. And we believe our determination to lead the way in DEX did not go unnoticed: we were recognized in the inaugural Gartner Critical Capabilities for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools. You’ll find more industry recognition for both our VDI and UEM offerings on Omnissa.com

Unifying the digital workspace

Businesses continue to struggle with poorly integrated technologies for digital work. We’re on a mission to reduce that complexity and related costs for customers while improving their security and experience. Omnissa offers a powerful suite of solutions, unified across the first AI-driven digital work platform by what we feel is the most comprehensive set of heterogeneous systems capabilities available today.

But we firmly believe that unification should not come at the cost of vendor lock-in.

We’re deepening our partnerships with technology providers and systems integrators so customers can use the technologies that best meet their needs. The partnership we announced with CrowdStrike is a recent example, and I look forward to sharing more in the coming year.

AI-driven innovation

Pioneering digital workspace solutions is where our roots begin, and innovation is central to our mission. The Omnissa AI strategy is a pragmatic one, delivering new capabilities across the platform that help customers adapt and scale quickly as their needs evolve.

Alert, assist, advise, and ultimately autonomous capabilities are enriching our solutions to make digital workspaces more intuitive and resilient for customers. You’ll see exciting advancements like the Omni AI Assistant in coming months.

Robust partner ecosystem

The support from our partners has been tremendous, from sponsoring our first Omnissa ONE conference to participating in our global sales kickoff. Many of you have expressed excitement about seeing us lead the industry for digital work.

Building on that momentum, we’re making big investments in our partner program for 2025. With a focus on ease of doing business, the updated program will reflect our commitment to the channel and is a key component of our business strategy.

Omnissa ONE and customer engagement

We had a lot of firsts this year, but nothing was more exciting than engaging with customers at Omnissa ONE in Dallas, Tokyo, and Amsterdam. The overwhelming attendance in each region signaled a clear appetite for continued innovation and a customer-first approach to solutioning.

Our goal is clear: to ensure that Omnissa remains closely attuned to the demands of today’s digital workspace and that our customers are supported at every step.

Looking ahead

As we close out the year and look ahead to 2025 and beyond, Omnissa stands poised for a new era of growth and innovation.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey. With a strong foundation in place, we’re ready to take on the future of work.
